Easy Baked Tacos

This is one other food I made for the Superbowl. Tacos are very messy to serve so I tried this. Actually worked out great.

Taco bell makes these flat bottom corn shells, you can get them at your grocery store. Best thing ever!

Fill these will your favorite fillings toss in the oven. Yay! Not so messy tacos! Serve with sour cream. Perfect..

Preheat oven to 350°

Line a lasagna pan with tinfoil for easy clean up.

Place your shells in the pan. You get 10 in one package. Set aside.

Supplies:

  • Fry pan and spoon
  • Large pot to cook rice
  • Cutting board and knife

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound package of ground beef (cooked through with no pink and chopped small) salt and pepper your meat to taste
  • 1 package of flavored rice (my son is a huge chicken rice fan, I used that)
  • 2 cups of mexican blend cheese
  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes
  • Hot sauce
  • 1/4 onion diced
  • Sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Start layering your shells, rice first.

Ground beef

Next add your corn, diced tomatoes and onions. Then add your hot sauce to taste. Its a favorite in our house so I added a lot.

Next cover with cheese, don’t be shy. The more the better.

Bake in the oven till cheese is melted. Serve warm with sour cream.
